Hello, I have coded a program using VB6 and it’s simply a mathematics software help solving complex linear equations. I don’t know why the Avast detected it as virus, I’am write the whole code nothing more than the basic functions of the VB6.
Thanks for Quick response. I run free Avast it say that the file will go to lab and then will inform me after 80 minutes but after minute it deleted the .exe and say that it won’t see the light again… So what you think?
@Eddy, I think i follow these rules i say it’s just simple software.
No, we can’t test to see what Cybercapture is saying about it.
Cybercapture creates a hash of a file and send that to avast.
If the hash is already known, the result (harmfull or not) will be returned to the user.
If the hash is unknown, the file is send to avast for automatic analyzing and if needed avast will manually analyze it.
If someone else starts the same file, the hash is send to avast.
Since avast already has the hash the file will not be send, even when the analyzing hasn’t finished.
The reason is that there really is no need for avast to have multiple copies of the exact same file.
Let’s say Microsoft rolls out a update.
Why should avast analyze the same file millions of times ?
I think it’s solved as now i can open the software without deleting it. I try another version of this simple software and it’s say it’s safe. Thanks for fixing this problem. And thanks for everyone here response to this topic 8).
