[SOLVED] HTC: USB Internet pass-through mode

Hi everyone,

just noticed what HTC specific function (USB Internet pass-through mode) is not working anymore. It allows phone to use computers internet connection via USB. Before avast it worked fine as I remember, but now I can’t enable it. No confirmation on phone it is enabled… All HTC drivers on computer are OK.

Maybe someone using HTC can check if this USB mode is working well with avast on phone? Thanks :slight_smile:

You mean tethering? Is it enabled or disabled? Avast has nothing to do with drivers.

OK, some digging, removing of network and HTC drivers, and complete re-installation of them solved the problem. It was something wrong in drivers with internet connection sharing, not avast related on phone or PC.
