does anyone have installed the sfirm software and have the same problem, that avast-client-netversion HANGS at file called: sfirm32.msi ?
in the past the scanner runs fine.
the last scan in the night doesnt.
i get the file to my computer and runs the “check file” test. it hangs at my computer, too.
so, the problem is NOT computer specific.
any ideas, what i can do?

is the file huge or not? in case of yes, upload it pls to ftp.avast.com into an incomming folder… if the file is small enough, send it to virus[at]avast[dot]com and describe it shortly (i mean something like “file causing avast to freeze” in message subject) 
you can find the file, called sfirm32.msi on your ftp server
hope you can find the reason and maybe a solution

it seems that there is a bigger problem ??? ???
i will wait… because i am young, and i can wait ;D ;D
The problem has been fixed yesterday, i.e. it shouldn’t appear anymore with the current VPS file.
