Some folders excluded, but they still get scanned.

I added some folders to the exclusion paths (options->antivirus->exclusions), but when I open some files in it (some word documents and excel documents) they still get scanned.

I’ve checked the paths and they’re ok, and there’s an * after the folders location so all files are excluded.

What should I do?

I have Free Avast installed. The office version is 2007.

Did you reboot ?

Yes. I turned off the computer many times, since I added the exclusions some time ago.

What exact version of avast are you using?
Because there is no “options->antivirus->exclusions” in avast 2015.

The version is 2014.9.0.2021
The language is spanish.

I’m actually updating now, I forgot to do it. I’ll try again after the update to see if there are any changes.
