probably not a malware problem. How big is the file you downloaded ? if it is less then 20mb you can check it at VirusTotal
Upload the file(s) to www.virustotal.com and check it with 43 malware scanners
when you have the result, copy the URL in the address bar and post it here

i tried superanti spyware malwarebytes IObit security..............

nope.....i did not recuest the URL of IObit, but i did post some info you should read, that will show you that IObit is not a program you can trust........

The URL i recuested was from VirusTotal if you where able to test the file there

Thank you i have posted the url there but did not find any malware

???

Actually I couldn’t upload the file in www.virustotal.com I remember the link from the download. Submitting url was the next option so i did that. Anyway Spybot caught 115 infections I have cleaned upto 111. Will clean tonight if not possible i will be informing you. Do you recommend to removal of IOBit from my computer?

I think most of us here would recommend that IObit be removed.

+1

Thank you I removed iobit. as my laptop is still infected with explorer the name of the infection as per the spybot. spybot cannot remove it. i have done a startup scan still the infection is not listed by spybot hence cannot remove this infection. I still require your help.

Hi friends,

I got infected with 177 malware items. I just tried to download opensuse11.3 from mirrorackspace.com. So i cleaned the 170 infections with Spybot. When i run the spybot the items now detected are

1 Adobe flash player cookies

2 cache

3 history

4 MS direct3D

5 Windows

6 windows explorer (THis is the one )

The windows explorer is not removed rest of all are removed by spybot Spybot asks for a startup scan. i have done that but the items detected wont show up Instead Spybot windows show 3 detected at the bottom left side. Spybot dialog box say it is resident in the memory. How to remove the no 6 item called the windows explorer

I suggest:

  1. Clean your temporary files.
  2. Schedule a boot time scanning with avast with archive scanning turned on. If avast does not detect it, you can try DrWeb CureIT! instead.
  3. Use MBAM (or SUPERantispyware or even Spyware Terminator) to scan for spywares and trojans. If any infection is detected, it is better and safer to send the infected file(s) to quarantine (Chest), rather than simply deleting them.
  4. Test your machine with anti-rootkit applications. I suggest avast! antirootkit or Trend Micro RootkitBuster.
  5. Make a HijackThis log to post here or this analysis site. Or even submit the RunScanner log to to on-line analysis.
  6. Clean your Hosts file (replacing it) with HostsMan tool.
  7. Disable System Restore and then reenable it again.
  8. Immunize your system with SpywareBlaster.
  9. Check if you have insecure applications with Secunia Software Inspector.

Thanks Tech I have done all things that you have suggested but still I m not able to clean it. The malware busters that you suggested removed other malware installed in my computer but did not remove the malware that is causing the problem. Need help

To avoid using multiple posts with copy and paste you have to attach the logs
Lower left corner: Additional Options > Attach ( OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. and Malwarebytes scan log)
