Hi guys,

some minor issues regarding the use of adnm… since today we always get the error (look in attachment) that something has gone ‘wrong’ after doing a manipulation on the tasks list.

for example, editing an existing task called “deploy workstation” in wich we change the computers that will be used for deployment, all goes well, untill the moment I click OK to save the task…

a second thing I’m experiencing is sometimes the clients don’t communicate with the server anymore. strange, not? They are “green” in the list and then suddenly some appear to be off and look “gray”, … Any ideas why this might be?

Cheers!

Ps: the initial deployment went well, it was only for 20 pc’s, but still it was more fun doing it this way

  1. about the crashes - please send me the contents of the folder \data\log (ideally ZIPed up).
  2. about the clients - I assume the client machines are running… If so, does restarting of the “avast NetAgent” service help?

Thanks
Vlk

1, I’ve sent you the .zip file…
2, they are running yes  but restarting the service didn’t help, what did help was doing a ‘repair’ of the avast on that computer… (and an uninstall / install also did work, strangely enough)

Ehm, another question. What should we do when integrating adnm in an existing avast!-protected network? Just run the silent install of the netclient over the machines?
