Some programs do not work

In system installed Comodo Firewall without AV module

Does not allow running some programs. In the processes appear, but the program window does not appear. There are no messages. Without avast everything works.

Before the appearance of the bug used the same programs.

Anyway, as you’ve Premier get rid of Comodo…

… all the same, the problem is not in Comodo, but in Avast.
Installing or uninstalling Comodo from the system does not affect the situation.
From the changes that could lead to a bug and, there were only Windows update and the update of Avast components.

First, be sure to get rid of all remnants of your prior installed AV(s)…!!
→ https://support.avast.com/article/11/

Then:

  1. Download Avast Premier Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_premier_antivirus_setup_offline.exe
  2. Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.
