I have been renewing my […paid for] Avast internet security subscriptions for a few or more years now. I received an email with a discount for a subscription last October 2016. I paid for it and asked that it add to my current subscription that runs out February 24, 2017. This did not happen apparently because I got notice that my subscription is running out on Feb 24, 2017 and would be auto-renewed. I logged in and found that I have two running subscriptions exactly alike (for 3 pc’s). I cancelled the auto-renewal so I don’t get billed for the sub. running out on the 24th. I then checked my current license and found that my 2nd sub. runs from 10/14/16 to 10/14/17. Question are: will I have protection after my first sub. runs out; the 2nd kicks in?
…if not, what do I need to do? Next…when I cancelled auto-renew I noticed my credit card info is still showing in my account. I tried to delete it but can’t. I tried to use the edit function to delete it but it won’t allow blank fields so erasing through edit won’t work. I don’t want my Credit card info stored at Avast. How do I delete it from my account info?
I hope I’m in the proper forum for these questions. I apologize if I am not, please advise for I am a newbie at this site.
