Something keeps sending dozens of e-mail messages from my computer, avast can’t find anything, but reports that something’s tryin to send tonns of e-mail every minute. How can i find what kind of shit is doing it? Thanx
Try some online scans. (Disable avast! while scanning.)
can you recommend any online scannig for me please?
ESET Online Scanner (NOD32) can be set to remove infections it finds. Requires IE or IETab in Firefox.
Other ones for full computer on-line scanning:
Kaspersky (very good detection rates)
Trendmicro housecall
AVGas (does not necessary if you have AVG antispyware installed)
F-Secure
BitDefender (free removal of the malware)
HitmanPro (multiply scanners)
thanx guys , hope this will help
Please, post back the results

The first thing do do is start your own thread, as logs will be required, and with two people posting in the same thread, confusion and missed posts will happen.
Download and run this clean up utility. You can use it regularly. When it’s first run, it is in demo mode to show you what it will remove. Review it and then rerun in real mode. It is configurable.
[*]Save HJTsetup.exe to your desktop.
[*]Doubleclick on the HJTsetup.exe icon on your desktop.
[*]By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Hijack This.
[*]Continue to click Next in the setup dialogue boxes until you get to the Select Addition Tasks dialogue.
[*]Put a check by Create a desktop icon then click Next again.
[*]Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
[*]At the final dialogue box click Finish and it will launch Hijack This.
[*]Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
[*]Click on “Edit > Select All” then click on “Edit > Copy” to copy the entire contents of the log.
[*]Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
[*]DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

I see polonus has started a thread for you. It can be reached by the link below. Follow the above, but please post in the thread that polonus started.
so for now I can say one thing, BitDefender found two worms that AVAST was unable to detect, though BitDefender failed to delete one of the worms and left my computer still infected. So now Kaspersky scanning is in progress . I’ll let you know the results later. thanx for your help guys
Kaspersky found 1 virus and 2 infected objects but failed to delete them
Can you say what is the infected file name, where was it found (C:\windows\system32\infected-file-name.xxx)?
There was no particular name of the virus, just the location, and it was in relatively safe folder which is Nero cd burner , demo version. Though BitDefender found it in absolutely defferent location and was unable to delete it too.
To know if a file is a false positive, please submit it to VirusTotal and let us know the result. If it is indeed a false positive, send it in a password protected zip to virus@avast.com
Please, mention in the body of the message why you think it is a false positive and the password used. Thanks.
I can’t be sure if this Nero file is clean without testing…
