That depends on your settings, nothing to worry about.

Is the system time set correctly?
Is it possible that the system time (date) has changed during the scan?

Igor, that’s not what I meant. (Sorry, I didn’t have the Englisch terminology at hand before.)
I mean this: Scan Settings → Performance → Speed up scanning by reading files in the order they are stored on the disk

Please share more details, ex:Os, did you upgrade from 7 to 8 version? or did you try a fresh avast install?

  1. Was this a clean install or via the GUI?
  2. You might want to tr a repair Control Panel>Uninstall>double click “avast”>click “repair”>reboot

Or a clean install.

  2. Download and save then run http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility
  3. Install from step #1
  4. Reboot :slight_smile:

Yes it was a clean install on windows 8 pro , i installed it immediately after i installed windows 8 pro. I might have changed the system clock in the middle of the scan since the time was wrong on the clock. Could that be the problem?
