Doesn’t Microsoft release new windows updates on the 2nd Tuesday of every month? If so, I haven’t found any for today other than an optional update for Silver Light.
It depends if there is an update for your computer.
The so called “First Tuesday” does not necessarily mean there will be updates.
In other words, there isn’t always an update.

I just installed the 9 updates.
Installing them right now.
Still have 700 MB of optional updates afterwards.
It’s now 19:50 GMT and still no updates for my Win7.
It must be a Win8.1 thing. :

I just installed 8 updates (Windows 7). I am surprised that there were no IE security updates

Just performed my Vista MS updating and I just have rebooted after the fourth install.
Checked my event viewer warnings to reboot.
It will now be harder for MS to coordinate their patch cyclus with new Google’s Windows zero-days publications…
Is there a 48 days sequence to be brought in?
Time for another Windows version to be Vista-lized.
Up to Windows 10 to be treated seriously until it also becomes “holed”.

For those of us not in the USA, patch Tuesday already happens on a Wednesday ;D
…and most times on a Thursday or even a Friday.
Always have to treat this subject seriously, updates and patches are a vital part of your security status.
Not only for the OS but also for third party software. Glad we have the avast updater as part of the av solution.
