Sorry we couldn't move this file to Virus Chest dyld_shared_cache_x86_64h

Hi there.

I’m wondering if someone has a solution to my problem.

A “dyld” folder and 2 files appears to be infected on my Mac but Avast can’t move the file to the Virus Chest.

Manually moving it doesn’t work either.

the threat is called “MacOS:MaxOfferDeal-BU [Adw]”

I considered deleting the infected file(s) “dyld_shared_cache_x86_64h” but people online have advised against this - I assume deletion causes damage to the operating system.

Is this a false positive?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi, can you please send crc hash of mentioned file?
eg in terminal: shasum -a 512 /full/path/to/file

Any news in regards to this? Having the same problem. I’m a bit concerned and have stopped using my Mac. An update would be appreciated
