Having arrived here for the first time, and after attempting several searches for topics, it would be really useful if we could sort the search results by latest or newest or in date order or something. I couldn’t see this option, so while it’s highly likely that it’s me, and if someone could show me that would be great, but if it isn’t available, how do we feedback that it might be a useful feature?

Well you will be happy in that you now have three posts so that measure should be ended.
Whilst this isn’t exactly by date you could use the Message age: between 0 and 9999 days so range between 0 and 90 days last three months for example. Combine that with a simplified search term/word should reduce the volume.
There is also Google which has been useful in finding topics in the forums, I also tag a site: forum.avast.com (note space between site: and forum.avast.com at the end of the search term.
You can also try adding a space and Plus 2023 +2023, at the end of the search term to try and delimit the number of results.
Thanks for the suggestions - very much appreciated. I’ll try to remember those in future. But it would be great if they just developed a nice little button we could press.
