NOOB here. I just installed Avast on my 3 computers. I notice the option to enable or disable “Special Graphics Effects”. It states that it may slow performance.
What is special graphics effects? I see no difference with it on or off.
Some kind of animations of the menus/buttons when they move, I believe… maybe something more, but nothing very much visible.
HHHMMM! I guess no one here knows either. I thought this would be the place to find Avast answers. Guess I was wrong.
It really does not slow down modern systems…
