There are malware fighters that make special uninstall or cleaning tools. We all know Merijn Bellekom of hjt, but do you know Swandog46. He presented us with these tools. Don’t try them out, they should be used under guidance of a trained malware fighter. Especially the aproposfix tool is not easy to handle. It is used as follows:

Doubleclick aproposfix,exe from http://swandog46.geekstogo.com/aproposfix.exe
and unzip to your desktop. Don’t use yet. Start up your computer in SafeMode. On the desktop look for aproposfix and in this for a file named RunThis.bat. Doubleclick and follow instructions.
After the tool has finished, restart your computer in normal mode.
Open aproposfix now and look for the log.txt file.
Put the contents of this file to be reviewed by your trained malware fighter to see of the apropos rootkit has been removed
or an additional hjt session is needed for other malware.
This one is not for the faint-hearted.
