Spigot Malware hijacking chrome browser

Hi

I noticed when opening chrome my home page had changed to Yahoo. I changed it back to google, along with my default search provider. However I still get a Yahoo tab opening every time I open chrome. Really need the computer for work, so any help would be really appreciated.

Just followed the instructions from http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0 I ran AdwCleaner, Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware, OTL, and aswMBR. I’ll post the logs in this topic as instructed.

Is this a second tab opening in chrome ?

Open Chrome, you’ll see your trusty annoying little Yahoo tab
Click on the wrench
Click on settings
Under “Sign In” you will see “On Startup”, the third circle should say:
Open a specific page or set of pages. Set pages
Click on Set pages and you will see Yahoo! Mouse over Yahoo and delete that !

Yeah it was a second tab. Followed the steps and BANG…that shit is gone!! Can’t believe it was that simple.
