I try to open the virus scan and get a splash screen error for ashavast.exe. I have tried all of the suggestions on the forum but it still appears. Can some one help me. I also seem to be getting similar error windows with other programs.

And, what about C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashSimp2.exe ?
