Yes, my Windows OS is 64-bit bit (as stated in my signature). This Office Starter came pre-installed when I bought my laptop. How can I replace the 32 bit version MS Office with the 64 bit version MS Office? In the Add/Remove list, it has these following programs related to Office Starter.MS Office 2010, MS Office Click-to-Run 2010, and MS Office Starter 2010 - English.

What if I don’t want the 64-bit of MS Office can I uninstall the above following programs and install Kingsoft Office Free which has got office, excel, and presentation.

Yes you can uninstall and replace office, I use Kingsoft myself … Nice and cheap

Evidently there was an update to 64 bit windows that affected the 32 bit office, hence the need to switch it to 64bit

Yes, this issue happened after the monthly microsoft update this month. So shall I uninstall the 3 ms office program as mentioned before? Is Microsoft aware of this issue and is there a patch being prepared? I wrote about this in Microsoft forum 14 views, but no answer.

OK as I have just upgraded my windows 10 I need to re-install it … I got the same error

However, after some rummaging download the business version from here http://www.wps.com/download/4242
Install the programme and select free version once it starts

No I don’t have cryptoprevent. I did some digging into this issue and I came across this link http://help.wps.com/customer/portal/questions/9654121-windows-installation-help and apparently many users faced the same issue as me, including you ;).

At the very last comment by WPS Customer Service they gave this link http://www.wps.com/windows/ and I downloaded the free edition and it worked ;D.

Kingsoft needs to ditch this link http://www.kingsoftstore.com/

Wicked :D. Kingsoft programs is so much better than Microsoft. Been using Kingsoft Presentation for a number of years, because MS Stater doesn’t have powerpoint. Now uninstalled MS Starter and downloaded WPS Writer, excel, and presentation all in 1 :). By the way, where can i get the shortcut button/function for Kingsoft Writer, excel, and presentation? Can’t seem to find it, I have to right click some words/sentences that are mis-spelled?

I realized that lol. Want to know that if it was possible to make a shortcut and put it in the left hand side along with the shortcut of open, save, print preview, and etc. If not possible then it’s fine.
