Hello,
I have a PC with a user with Microsoft Family safety active. With this user is impossible to navigate web because a SSL error caused by avast.
I tried with IE, Firefox and Opera.
I be able to navigate only if I unselect “Activate HTTPS scan” on Web protection settings!
I notice that is same if Avast is Free or licensed.
There is a solution, without uninstalling avast?
Thanks
Luigi

Firefox = SSL_error_rx_record_too_long
Opera = SSL connection error
IE = This website uses an unsecured connection
Bye.

You could take a look at another topic on this same page 1 of this board and see if that topic might help: SSL Scanning/Checking in Avast Free?
That said, providing the SSL error would be helpful.
ADDENDUM: Never mind about the error for now, I see you’ve provided some info.
And I see you’ve already tried what is discussed in the other link so that’s no help apparently. :-\
To answer your question, I don’t think there is a solution to your problem outside of uninstalling and doing a “clean install”.

Not solve the problem that happens even with a licensed version. I tried in another PC who installed a licensed version of avast pro and the problem is the same
Thanks
