Cannot find a settings menu to deactivate SSL-Scanning of Mails… :o Anyone have a clue where to find it?
It’s under old settings.
Go to settings/troubleshooting, scroll all the way down and under components/mail shield and customize
It’s also accessible in the Geek area.

Geek:Area, a total piece of ---- my pet hate, don’t get me started.
Essentially hidden to everyone, other than those regular forum users.
How the hell are users to know about this area when it isn’t mentioned in the UI. Not to mention the ton of stuff in it, much of which has no business being hidden there, the OPs question being just one such point. Then there is the mess it is in, so damn big and on a single level, no easy navigation.
I agree. Who knows avast’s “rational” reasoning for doing so many unnecessary things.
