dcliff, I’m glad we’ve fixed this.

mantra, right now it’s better to use the built-in updater. There are some problems with updates from the setup EXE file (at least under Win9x). Of course, reinstallation would do as well but it shouldn’t be necessary.

Our investigation so far indicates that the problem only occurs if you do the update by running the setup EXE file (and not by using the built-in updater). Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Vlk, the file vpsupd.exe (update file) cannot be applied to version 4.1.260: Error: 0x00000008 (only works with previous version)… ???
The updates from Internet are Ok for my XP…

I did the update via the built-in updater and had no problem whatsoever.
