Start date of licences

Hi All,

I am contemplating purchasing 20+ business suite, for our 4 servers and & 18+ clients.

When do the licences start? as soon as I purchase them or when I install them?

Reason for the question is that I will be doing a phased install of Domain controllers and PCs… Servers now and PCs in December. Also, Could I transfer the license to another upgraded client - i.e. uninstall and throw away the old PC and install on the new one via the Administration center?
