Start up programmes .

Looking for some advice .Being having slow start up / close down for a while now .Found this while trying to find solution ,

" These start up programs are causing Windows to start slowly "

Is this just caused by Avast loading/ updating on switching on ? Thank you .

Avast Free .Virus definition version 120703-0 .

  1. Download avast! Free Antivirus: http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe
  2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed avast! versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall avast! with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.
