Start up scan

Hi!

How do I run a start up scan? Like the one that runs when the Avast is installed. Avast is not able to delete a virus out of my computer when windows is loaded. I need to reboot it and run a scan before anything gets loaded.

If you have XP or Win2k, you could enable a boot time scan. Right click the avast icon, select Start avast! Antivirus, Menu, ‘Schedule boot-time scan…’
