Since i downloaded Avast, and i start my laptop and immediately click on something it will hang and can’t do nothing anymore. If i let load 5 min when i boot and dont click on nothing everything will be fine. Why?Normal?
anybody? IT’s really annoying, i must turn off button and to restart. And make from 5 min at least 10 till i can use laptop properly
See if this helps:
IT remains, even after that… also disabled rootscan and RAW disc. Still problem.
any other security programs installed ?
Only ad aware free antivirus malware…maybe with ad aware together causing conflicts?
i would try to remove it yes…and use malwarebytes instead http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
also try this http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/startuplite
Hmm sure malwarebytes? I have bad experience with malwarebytes…never detects a virus even if i have…
never detects a virus even if i haveand what did you have?
malwarebytes is the best at what it does…it is a tool that target only the worst malwares…and only fresh ones
so there is lots of malware it will no look for, they leave the rest to your AV
check any removal forum on the web…the first tool they run is MBAM
I had a kind of police virus…but malwarebytes didnt detect IT… I bet IT is good, but IT never detects something.
It is much better at detection than AD Aware and alot more highly respected as well as it’s usually the first tool that any malware specialist will instruct you to run.
Yes true…i will use IT sometimes then. :P. But i need a second opinion on removing ad aware and keep only avast. And if the freezing stops. What you think Craig?
I wouldn’t worry with AdAware myself Avast and malwarebytes are the best 1-2 combination iv ever used or recommend.
Removing AdAware should get rid of your system slowness as it would have processes running in the background and congesting your system.
You haven’t mentioned what operating system your using, if you use vista or win7 then you can also disable Defender, if your on XP then hopefully Defender is not even installed
I have window 7 home premium ???
Great! you can disable defender too then if you haven’t already
Okay…will try soon. 8)
Is IT bad for the laptop, if i install avast and unistall more than once?
No!
