hi all
during install of avast-free , i had the choice to start a full-scan of the local harddisks on the next boot.
is there a way to re-start this boot-scan ? i dlike to scan my harddisk wthout running the full vista in the background.

You could enable a boot time scan. Right click the avast icon, select Start avast! Antivirus, Menu, ‘Schedule boot-time scan…’ Or see http://www.digitalred.com/avast-boot-time.php
Or just run:
C:\Program Files\ALWIL Software\Avast4\sched.exe /A:*
But I suppose you won’t run at every boot… it takes a lot of time…
