Running XP in Safe mode for hardware conflicts, so Avast! Home resident did not start. What exe or service can I start manually to enable on resident AV? Can’t seem to find it in the simple user interface. I can change the sensitivity but cannot locate the start-up command(s).

That’s not possible - the necessary drivers are not loaded in safe mode.
Which drivers are necessary? How to start. Need AV protection while I search solutions for the hardware conflict?

Booting normally leads to no monitor & keyboard.
Guess I’ll close the firewall door except while actively browsing solutions on the Wen.
