[]When finished - it will display a logfile (located also on your main drive, usually C:\ComboFix.txt).
Include that log in your next reply.

Very good, how’s your computer behaving now?
It seems a tad sluggish yet. Not sure if its the age of the PC or the bloatware that is still on it… Thinking about running PC Decrapifier and seeing if that helps mosey this dinosaur along. This computer is mostly used for word processing and rarely internet surfing.

[]In the main box please paste in the following script:

[*]Push Run Script and wait patiently. The scan may take a couple of minutes.

[*]If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.

Fix log. Any recommendation on low resource free antivirus? Is Avast worth running on Windows XP?
Avast can work on XP, but every AV spends memory.
Logs doesn’t show active infection.
The following will implement some post-cleanup procedures:
Download DelFix by Xplode and save it to your desktop.

[]Remove disinfection tools
[]Purge system restore
[*]Reset system settings
[*]Push Run and wait until the tool completes his work.
All tools we used should be gone. Tool will create an report for you (C:[B]DelFix.txt)
[SIZE=1]The tool will also record healthy state of registry and make a backup using ERUNT program in %windir%\ERUNT\DelFix
Tool deletes old system restore points and create a fresh system restore point after cleaning.
