I have a few Vista machines on the domain, this seems to be specific to 2 of them. I created an install package, then a deployment task and pushed a test run to my vista computer. This was successful. Then I opened the Deployment Task and changed only the computer names to 2 other vista boxes. This resulted in the error Status: failed (Access is Denied).
These 3 computers are all on the same domain, I used the domain admin account on the successful install and didn’t change it when I pushed to the 2 computers that were unsuccessful.
by the way when I try to connect to that computer using “RUN” a window comes up and asks for network password, how can I eleminate that? Because I have entered the account name and password to the remote computer but still couldn’t manage to eleminate that window… I used the valid account name and password in installation package but still couldn’t manage to deploy the product. Thanks for your help
I have tried that as well but still couldn’t manage to deploy the product
I disabled the option in folder option which is “Use Simple File Sharing” but still it requires a network password when I use RUN to reach to the computers \Computer\C$ folder…Anything else I can do?

And the log looks the same as before ?

I think it is normal that it requires a password, why do you expect it should not ?
