yes…already some posts about it in the virus and worms section
if you have the file in chest…right click and upload as false positive
it will then be uploaded at next update…or at once if you do a manual update
I got some Steam Win32 Malware Gen message a few minutes back.
My system is now doing a boot time scan.
Is this all a false positive?
have you run a manual update?
then right click the file in chest…if they are there and rescan
Happened to me aswell, however the update was literally 3 seconds after steam was detected. Thank god I still went ahead with a boot time scan, I found a java trojan!
I aborted the boot scan
I did a manual update, but it was already updating to the 805-1 in the background
I went to the chest and it says FileSystem_Steam.dll – no virus –
Is it safe to remove it from the chest?
you right click and restore…a copy will remain in chest…you can delete that when you feel all is OK
