Sorry to start a new post, I just don’t know how to get the help I need and I’m hoping some new blood will hop on and get interested in helping. I think the last crew of good folks who were trying to help before got frustrated with me and the situation, and just gave up. I am such a novice when it comes to anything related to computers. I am doing my best, but did not know you could attach a notepad document for installation files. Sorry about that. I promise that is how I mill do it in the future.
So, I have continued to get either the BSOD, or the error message that the Avast firewall component cannot be installed. Can someone (IN PLAIN ENGLISH) direct me to what action I should take next? Someone wrote something about getting memory dumps, and another post suggested I consider searching for driver updates for the computer. Can someone please explain this to me, in a way an “IDIOT” would understand??? I’m no dummy in other areas, but in this one, I truly am.
