I know the avast team probably gets to read these types of topics every day, but I’m only a high school student and don’t have that much money. Got charged 63$nzd around 2 days ago and instantly submitted a ticket, contacted them on twitter and facebook still no response after 2 days. Had the same issue with Spotify where I didn’t cancel before the trial ended and they replied on twitter in around 3 hours and sorted the problem out. I know avast probably have a much smaller customer team but at least a message back saying they have received the request or at least an email indicating that it has gone through. Feels like they have just ignored it.

I’ve been reading other people’s posts and I’ve understood that if I submit another refund request I’ll be put back to the end of the line. Is there any way to find out my ticket ID without resubmitting another refund request? Otherwise, I can send my order ID for the year premium subscription if that will help?
Did you get an auto email after submitting your refund request ?
I believe that should give you a link back to your refund request if not the support ticket ID without having to submit or modify your original request.
I have checked my email multiple times and no email about the refund request. Been 4 days now still no response on my email. However, I have got into contact with one of your staff members over on twitter. All she said was she will escalate this to her customer care team.
Hi, I’ve requested another refund through your find order link and it says that it has been returned. Then when I click manage subscription it also says canceled. Yet when I go to the avast desktop app it says that I still have it running for another 325 days. I haven’t received the refund payment in my bank account. Haven’t received any emails about the refund going through and still no reply from your twitter team after I sent them my email. This is unbelievable that it’s taking almost a week now to even get a confirmation on my refund, let alone actually receiving it. >:(
