Still waiting ?

Still waiting for my old account.Come on moderator help out here!!!

Reported…again. ::slight_smile:

Creating new topics, isn’t really a great idea, as it doesn’t really show the duration.

Post in your existing topic to bump it up the chronological listing would show that.

The only way I can communicate with anyone (moderator) is to have 20 post ergo the new topic.
Thanks for reporting it again.

A post, doesn’t have to be in a new topic for it to count towards the 20 post, restriction, nearly there.

Yes does seem to be taking a long time with no word.

Looks like the long wait is over.
You can mark this topic SOLVED

It wasn’t his topic Bob ;D

So still awaiting action on the OP marc-d-lal getting access to his original account.

Yes I just realized that when I saw the other post…

Nothing has been solved.I am starting to lose faith with this forum.

The problem is that you are logging in with the wrong email address.
Use the one that you signed up with here, not the one you are using at my.avast.com.

I have been using avast for years and years,I have gone through five or six PC’s reformatted several times many of these machines, and am suppose to remember an email address that I used when Noah was building the Arc.All I know is that two months ago my email was just fine for logging in to here now it doesn’t work.(WHY)
All this doesn’t give me much confidence in who ever is running this board.

That’s why you should really stuck with your other topic as we are in danger of covering the same ground in the other topic.

The forum logon changed because of the change in logon validation and is now linked to your my.avast.com account. So if you log on at my.avast.com, you should be recognised when you enter the forums.

If you logon at the forums, your forum user name (not display name) is now the email address used in your my.avast.com account, your password should be as before.

There is an issue if you had the same password for both my.avast and the forum, in which case avast recommend that you change your password after successfully getting into your old account.

So here we are in a new topic and we haven’t got a clue exactly how you have been trying to logon.

Bob, Bob, Bob, multi tasking again are we. ;D
Hope it works out for marc-d-l

If I could (successfully) get into my old account, would I be going through all this ???
If you haven’t a clue on how I have been trying to log on then you haven’t been reading any of my posts
If am starting to sound like am p***d off that’s because I am

You are still not giving us any information in this topic, we shouldn’t have to dig back in other topics to find that information.

We read many topics, we can’t be expected to remember everything.

You might be pied, but you should be pied at those trying to help.
So I’m going to stop wasting your time and mine.

Maybe it can’t be fixed.
In that case, there are only 2 choices,

  1. Learn to live with it or,
  2. Kiss the forum bye bye

I highly doubt that you would be happy with either option but,
there may not be any others.

WHY CANT I GO BACK TO THIS
