Stollen Phone - My phone number has changed

Hello there,

I had a stollen phone about 10 days ago, and my phone service has changed all the phone number in my city, they included another digit on the phone numbers.

But I’m still receveing the messages from Avast Anti-Theft (like battery low, change of sim card…), as the old number is still active.

But when I send a command to my stollen phone, I think he is not recognizing my new phone number, and I don’t get any message back.

I want to locate it, I have the anti-theft password, but I’m not getting my commands working.

Is there any way to get my commands answered by my stollen phone?

Hello,

where are you sending the command messages from? Web portals usually add invisible characters to messages that spoil the command - use a phone.

I have already read the FAQ, I’m reading now the manual to see if I can find my problem.

I’m sending from my phone (An Android phone - Samsung). But the messages go with my new number, and I don’t get any answer from my stollen phone.

If there any way to change the phone that is registered on avast anti-theft configuration? or something else that I can do to send commands to it?
