All of my products have this message: “This feels like the Stone Age.” The next line says, "We can’t get the online content to leave the cave,” whenever I try to use it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, but that does not solve the problem. Any suggestions?

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
I think it is a flippant (not funny or helpful) way to say the connection failed.
What Avast Program/s are you using ?
What was it you were trying, doing/attempting to do when the error occurred ?
This issue only occurs with Avast Cleanup Premium and the Driver Updater. Avast Security, Avast Anti-track, and BreachGuard appear to be unaffected. As you can tell, I am connected to the internet.
This is what I thought being unable to connect for whatever reason and getting a rather unhelpful (so called humorous/flippant) response.
Did you try the contact our Member Services & Support link ?
As an Avast Free user I don’t have these paid add-ons, so haven’t experienced this error message.
Are you running firewall software? Avast or otherwise. Does disabling it for a moment fix this message?
I turned the firewall off, and the problem remains. I also get this message with Avast Premium Security.
I passed it on via email but haven’t gotten a response yet. I’ll call customer service today.
This is just speculation, but:
There are regions in the world that Avast can’t or won’t support. Such as Russia.
I don’t know what the result of a blocked IP would look like, but it might be a message like this. Perhaps.
If you have a VPN, you could try hopping around. See if you can connect from a different address.
Somehow you’ll have to figure out if a block is client side or server side.
