Stop notification of Virus/malware

I have Avast 4.8 standard running on our server (recently installed) and xp pro on all client machines.

If I receive a virus via email, I get a warning message pop up on the client machine which seems to halt the machine until it is responded to.

Can I se a default response to automatically delete any virus received via email as I used to do with Sophos?

sorry, I was wrong. Go to http://support.avast.com an search for “silent mode” without quotes.
