stop re-activation nag screens

I’ve had subscription to the VPN addons for a while, and decided to cancel it.
However, for some unknown reason, avast keep nagging me about re-activating it with some sales offer, etc.
This really nags me, and I don’t wish to see this re-activation messages anymore.
How can I cancel those pop-ups from showing ?

https://support.avast.com/article/96/ (Add/Remove components)

does not work.
Removed the component (currently uninstalled), but it’s still keep’s showing nag screens to activate at certain discount.

Under ettigns - pop-ups I only see duration for certain types of pop-ups,
this message does not go away after X seconds, it stays !

please help.

If you’ve the standalone version of SecureLine, uninstall it.
→ Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast SecureLine

i’ts not standalone, I only have “avast internet security” on my installed app list.
I’m referring to this nag screens:

and as mentioned, VPN component is already uninstalled:

This really bothers me >:(
I’ve paid for service, period is over, I don’t wish to use the VPN component any more.
This is still paid license of the internet security suite,
I don’t see any reason i’m forced to see nag screens in the name of trying to convince me to re-activate…
I can understand one-two times, but when this appears daily - it’s BAD / POOR PR choice.

Please help.

As an avast user of a paid program version, have you not disabled the ‘don’t show promotions for other avast products’ or words to that effect ?

I believe that setting is in the avastUI > Settings > Privacy section.

Yes it is David.

Thanks, avast keep changing the bloody settings (and I’m using the free version) so it is hard to keep track of where things are

I’ve removed the checks boxes as mentioned, but the damn nags keeps showing:

Regarding my licenses, as mentioned,
using the paid version:

Any other ideas ?

Did you reboot afterwards…!?

reboot seems to solve it.
24h without nags, lets hope it remains that way :]

OK, sounds good.
