Stop Sandbox Any Creative sound card, Your hardware-assisted virtualization maybe crash creative sound card on monthly cumulative update of windows 10/11

Goto Device Manager (Evidence)
→ Sound, video and game controllers
→ Creative sound card (Sound Blaster Z-Series or AE-Series, ie. Sound Blaster ZSE)

Properties → Details → Device stack

Avast Free Antivirus (“antivirus Settings> Troubleshooting> hardware-assisted virtualization” have bug maybe crash on monthly cumulative update with creative sound card , dont Enable!!!)

Bad result

  1. Monthly cumulative update maybe infinite loop on system restart (Say Working on update XX% complete but never complete)
  2. Creative sound card maybe not found after infinite loop and hard-restart(push restart button) (Avast Sandbox crash the sound card firmware freeze?)

Hello DashTim, it is normal aswSnx is attached to the ksthunk device. Can you please provide a support package, it can be generated/sent using Avast UI: Settings → Troubleshooting → Send logs

I don’t seem to have any issues using Avast with my Sound Blaster AE-9. Hm.
