When i use Outlook Express to send message to newsgroup(s), i see a message that avast ! is scanning the message. I want to know WHY >:(?? Why avast ! is scanning the messages i am sending. Can i turn off the scanning of outbound message, How ?

Left click on the Avast Icon on the task bar.
When Avast On Access Scanner window opens up, go to Internet Mail and left click on Customize.
In Resident Settings left click on SMPT tab. On SMTP tab uncheck check outbound mail. There is also a Newsgroup tab called NNTP. If you left click that tab you have an option to unclick scan outbound news.
I have never used newsgroups and hope that solves your problem.

Turning the function off is simple as roro has already mentioned.
My question is why you would want to turn it off?
Having outbound messages checked, prevents sending out potentially dangerous messages. 
Thanks very much roro. After postiong the message, i searched avast! options and found that INternet Mail and unchecked Scan Outbound mail from the SMTP tab but not from the NNTP tab but now i unchecked that and its working the way i want it. Thanks
The reason is because i reply to a lots of message and i dont want that avast! check every message.
