Stop "Site Blocker's" blocked site's "pop up" window.

Hello,

I’m a huge fan and user of the “Site Block” feature in the Avast Antivirus Free version 8.0.1489.

As you know, when a site’s URL is entered into the Site Blocker’s list, anytime that site attempts to pop-up a window or if I’m redirected by another site to a site in my Site Block list… Avast will not allow this site’s pop-up to appear. But, a pop-up window containing a message that Avast has blocked access to this site, is still created.

Is there any setting or way I can tell Avast to NOT display the blocked message pop-up window?

No such setting, mainly because part of the blocking is to prevent the site/page being displayed and that is done with the custom page created by the web shield.

The other point is without any form of notification, how do you know that a site has been blocked, isn’t that the whole point of the exercise.
