Anyone else having issues with Avast Business blocking access of Storebox?
I have installed Swisscom Storebox and for some reason, Avast Business blocks this application from connecting to the cloud server
Things done:
Added the storebox application in the exclusion list:
a. Settings > Exclusions
b. Settings > Active Protection > Web Shield > Exclusions > Processes to Exclude
c. Settings > Active Protection > File System Shield > Exclusions
Searched online for other options/resolutions, to no avail
Some websites/forums provided only solutions for regular Avast AntiVirus and not Business Security
Not familiar with the product myself, but it’s possible there is a subcomponent of the application that does the legwork and is still somehow blocked, like a service or something. See if you can investigate the logs of Storebox to offer some clues. Would not hurt to contact the vendor for support too.
Are you using Business standard or premium (with firewall)?
