Strange avast! Messages When Opening AVI's

A friend of mine using avast! 4.8 opened some videos that he had made himself and got this warning. Any ideas?

He is using Win7 x64.

For some reason there is a Windows Media Player in Program Files and the x86 Program Files. A possible exploit?

why does he use avast 4.8 ???

upload suspicious file(s) to www.virustotal.com and test with 43 malware scanners
when you have the result, copy the url in the address bar and post it here for us to see

It’s not a warning - it’s just a notification that something is being scanned.
He probably enabled the option “Show detailed into about the performed actions” (just guessing, I don’t remember how that option is called exactly) in the settings of the Script Blocker.

Thanks, I guess it is the script blocker. Also, I don’t know why he is using 4.8 but he’s going to upgrade soon. But I thought it was interesting how there was mwplayer in two places…

That seemed to do it. I’m not incedibly familiar with version 4.8 so thanks.

pls upgrade to version 6 since the web shield does not unpack all the packers and hence becomes a open door for threats…
