Strange behaviour with the 1.44megs disk unit

Well, the resident scanner of Avast32 v4 home edition has an issue with the disk unit. Without a disk inserted, if i click in the disk unit icon, Windows give me a message dialog prompting me about “formatting” the disk, when Windows only have to give me the “There is no disk in the unit” message. Other thing is when i format a disk, it seems than if the resident scanner is active, there is problems for formatting it.

I’m a spanish user from 1 year ago, and excuse me for my english :wink:

Hi,
I made a test with Windows XP+SP1 and the behaviour with the diskette is as it should.

I’m a spanish user too, and i got the same problem here. I have got spanish Windows XP + SP1 too :-.

Oops, don’t tell me it only appears on Spanish version of Windows. :-[
That would be very unfortunate (but still solvable - we sure do have Spanish XP here… ;))

FYI, we’ll be releasing Spanish version of avast! shortly!

With french XP+SP1, no problemo !
