strange firewall things

hey guys
my Avast anti virus use to update its anti virus defs by it self
but it wont update no more
this started happing when some thing like this:Application from your computer wants to send ICMP packet to 74.86.96.163 : details :tcpip kernel driver(every time it came up it said a new ip)

of couse i said deny but it came up again and again so told it to deny and remeber

now avast wont update it self
i can update it my self by rightclicking on the icon on the task bar and selecting update

whats wrong and how can i fix this ?

when your firewall asks whether to allow avast.setup, you should not deny.

tell us which is your firewall…

will let you know how to configure it so that avast can update.

Please, post the last 300-350 lines of avast log: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\log\Setup.log

well i reinstalled KERIO 2.1.5 firewall and avast anti virus

the stange firewall warnings are not coming up no more

in the list of apps avast.setup is allowed(i knew that one by seaching google.)

i willl check tomarrow(there should be a virus def by then) and see if theres updates by it self

(i wont post the log because i reinstalled and probley be pointless unless tomarrow it wont update then i will post it tomarrow)

Ok. If you reinstalled, the log is lost and a new one was created.
