Strange Scan Results

when i do a scan in the advance interface (non skinded mode) no viruses are found…but when i do a manual scan in the bastic interface a trojan is found in a music file.i have scanned the file with kis.7 and antivir.but the file is clean.i submitted the file to alwil.and scanned it at jotti’s.and its clean.my question is why would in basic mode find a trojan but not in the advanced interface…

Depends on how deep you run the scanning in the Enhanced Interface (Task), I suppose.

i used the default settings in the Enhanced Interface.but i used a thorough scan in the simple user interface.were are the settings in the enhansed interface ???

Right click the Task, choose Properties (edit the default task or create a new one).
You need to check ‘Advanced Configuration’ for full configurations be available.

thanks. Tech.but when i Right click the Task, choose Properties.i chose scan all files and content thorough but slow.and sensitivity test hole file.is this the deepest i can set the scan ???

Set all Packers to be scanned.
