strange update

I uninstalled/re-installed 4.7.817. 4.7.817 was the version that showed up after the re-install.

The program update is set to ask. However, it automatically updated to 4.7.844. ???

This has happened twice, two days running. Does this happen when a program version is a few months out of date?

Yep. Old versions are marked as out-of-date and silent automatic updates are forced. Of course it’s done only when we’re sure the newest version is stable enough and bugfree.
