Hi,
Avast! AV 7 Free.
I’m more curious than concerned. I’ve been checking Avast! Streaming Updates and they have been fairly regular, but today it’s been over 5 hours since any updates. I’m new to Avast! and am wondering if this is common? All input appreciated.

HI Manfromoz I must tell you that some days you will get a couple of updates one day and the next you might only receive one update for the whole day. Streaming updates do very from day to day sometimes. This is normal nothing to be alarmed about.

Ps: just be sure to keep streaming updates enabled and things should go smoothly. I have been using avast free for years.

The Streaming Updates have started again so all is well. I’m not too worried about the Virus Def’s - I know they will download when available.
I must say that in the short time I’ve had Avast installed I have been really impressed. I had a Norton product on before and although this system is no slug, it run noticeably quicker and quieter with Avast. Norton’s Pulse Updates run around every 5 to 15 minutes so I thought Avast may of been similar.
