I have been using Free avast for a very long time. Under my subscription previously i used to see the date till my subscription is valid. But around May 2020 after an update that subscription detail went missing. I thought that it was new version. so may be removed. I remember my subscription was till December 2020 but now it is giving me alert for subscription ending in 7 days. Date is not visible too.
What is the issue? is free avast subscription not for one year now?
The date for whatever reason is no longer displayed.
This changed a couple of program updates for whatever madness provoked this decision.
A lot was said about it not being required given you don’t need to register or renew the FREE version, but that is total bull droppings.
Every year like clockwork (or any hiccup like yours) you get reminders to renew, etc. etc. which if anything is hoping the user might opt for the paid Avast Premium version.
