Since purchasing Avast all of my emails that are sent from sites I have subscribed to are labelled as *** SPAM ***. Additionally emails from ebay after I have made purchases are labelled *** PHISHING ***.
Example headings.
*** PHISHING ***Confirmation of your Order of New Black Quick Change Clamp Key Capo for AcoustiGuitar…
*** SPAM ***The Weekend Conversation
It is quite annoying. I have looked around in the settings but I cannot find anywhere where I can add these senders to a “safe senders” list or something similar.
Could you please advise how I can ensure that these emails are not labelled SPAM.
I assume that you are using the AIS version of avast - There should be a button in the anti-spam module. I don’t use it but this is from the Program Help, see image, click to expand.

By clicking on the box provided, you can enter the email addresses of senders from whom email will not be treated as spam and will always be delivered as normal. You can enter the specific email address, e.g. john.smith@domain.com, or if you enter the domain name only (e.g. domain.com), all emails from that domain will then be allowed.
To remove an email address from the whitelist, click on it once and then click “Remove”.[/i]
Could you please point me to the “whitelist”? I couldn’t find it when I went looking before.
Ok just had a google and realised what you were talking about. The "whitelist is in my outlook client for my work emails but not my “postbox express” client that I use for personal emails.
