Subscription problems

I have used this service for 1 year and received a notification that I had 35 days to renew. That was last week.! Today I discovered that 72.99 euros has been taken from my account. The contact /cancel subscription pages don’t seem to be working when I go on to Avast’s site. When I log into my account it says no subscriptions / payment details etc and I am going round in circles.Is there another way to contact someone? After this I definitely want to canel this subscription.

auto renew is set by default and if you didnt turn off auto renew it will charge you for your next year but no idea why it has done it so early with still 30 days to go.

Thanks I’ll have a look at them. I know that if I didn’t ‘opt out’ it would automatically update but when I went to my avast account it says there are no subscriptions, so I couldn’t cancel anything. Also no banking details. They have also charged a lot compared to what I paid last year, and the costs they give me to subscribe when I look at my account.

strange nothing is showing in your account. are you sure you didnt use a different email adress to register the last time.
The cost does rise each year and for me last year they wanted £69 for 1 pc for 1 year. i found a code for £13 on amazon so contacte avast and they price matched it for me so only paid the 13 for premium.
mine is up in 30 days so may go down that route again to save some money.

The same thing happened to me also a week ago. I have already written several emails to the Avast, but they don’t even bother to answer…When I log into my account, I don’t have any subsciptions or payment details…I didn’t get anything to my money… :frowning: Please, let me know, if you could reach them.
